This product was first produced in 1952 during the golden age of animation. One of our favorite characters came back to us after buying our ACME Lump Reducing Hammer (sm) and an ACME Exploding Cigar.
Now he was trying to ward off a certain puma’s attempt to take some lumps—about three or four. The customer was afraid the puma might have gotten the upper hand after seeing an ACME receipt in his dressing room for an ACME Worried Mother Costume and ACME Stovelids. Having access to an early script he knew the puma was trying to take the upper hand by offering coffee, and wearing one of our stove lids under his disguise. He wanted a solution to overcome this advantage.
This was the impetus of the creation of the ACME Stovelid Remover.
